Being a volunteer gives me the opportunity to make a difference in my local community on issues I am passionate about
Volunteer
Volunteers play a vital role in helping people have their say on health and social care. Volunteering with Healthwatch can help you develop skills, gain experience and make a difference to your community.
Why volunteer with us?
- Make a difference in your local community by giving people the opportunity to speak up about their health and social care
- Make new friends as you become part of the Healthwatch Hackney team
- Boost your curriculum vitae (CV) as you develop new skills and confidence in the workplace
- Use your skills to contribute to the success of Healthwatch across Hackney
Over 3,700
people gave up their time last year to help make a difference to local health and care services.
Volunteering roles
We are currently recruiting volunteers to work on the community collecting feedback from residents. You will be supported to take part in outreach activities at a range of community services and venues, where you will speak to Hackney residents about their experiences of the health and social care services.
