Healthwatch Hackney is delighted to share our 2025/2026 Annual Report. It gives us great pleasure to reflect on the team’s many achievements throughout 2025/26. Following the announcement that central government intends to change legislation to abolish local Healthwatch, our staff responded with determination, delivering impactful work for the benefit of Hackney residents and clearly demonstrating the value of both the organisation and the work we do.

Enter and View of community Ear, nose and throat service

In March 2025, Healthwatch Hackney carried out a visit to the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) community service delivered by Communitas Clinics at the Lawson and Nightingale Practices.
The visit aimed to evaluate patient experience, with a focus on appointment booking, patient–staff interactions, support for vulnerable patients, responsiveness to feedback, compliments and complaints, and the operational challenges of delivering care from local GP practices. This report presents the findings and recommendations for improvement.
